The Neutronium Alchemist

I took a break of a couple of books after reading The Reality Dysfunction, but knew I had to start this second doorstopper in the trilogy soon or I never would.

Besides the continuing horror of the possessed and their fight against them, the other storyline deals with Alkad Mzu and the weapon she has invented (the Alchemist).

I always find it hard to review books in a trilogy, because what can I say? The writing style and story pacing is the same as with The Reality Dysfunction. The story has the same issues to me (too much horror). I still can't stop reading though. It's a good second book, and the action is still pretty high. The book ends in another cliff hanger, so I am glad I have The Naked God already on my shelf to read soon. Four out of five stars from me (the horror is still too much for me).
