Again, not sure how to classify this -- I guess "space exploration" will do.

It's also one of my favourites. One of the many interesting aspects (I don't have time to discuss them all right now) is the less-than-flattering portrayal of American astronauts behaving like louts on Mars in the story "--And the Moon Be Still As Bright," and the implied comparison of the destruction of the Martian civilization and that of the indigenous societies in the Americas by European invaders.

The Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges wrote an admiring review of this book. You can find it in his essay collection, "Selected Non-Fictions" (ed. Eliot Weinberger).
