Biography
Michael Flynn is considered a hard science fiction writer. Many of his works are known through publication in Analog Science Fiction and Fact. He published the first of his Firestar Cycle in 1990, which also marked the publication of his first novel. The Firestar Cycle reflects entrepreneurial efforts in space exploration, a topic close to current events. His time travel novel Eifelheim was nominated for a Hugo in 2006. He has also received the Prometheus and Seiun Awards for Fallen Angels and In the Country of the Blind.
He is married, has five children and lives in Easton, PA.
