Biography
Kate Wilhelm is a prolific Oregon- based Science Fiction and Fantasy author. She has written for such magazines as Quark, Locus, and Amazing Stories, and is the winner of three Nebula Awards. She has also won a a Hugo Award, for the novel "Where Late the Sweet Birds Sang."
