Location: UK		Although I was intending to get the maximum leverage out of my existing unread book pile, I've just worked out that I've already bought at least ten books with an eye on the challenges. One was mostly unavoidable - it would have been exceptionally fortunate if my random pick for the WoGF was an author I already owned - but really I just can't help myself.

At least one of them - Big Machine by Victor LaValle - is not even going to end up being used. I bought it as a Shirley Jackson winner, and ended up buying and reading Generation Loss by Elizabeth Hand instead.

Never mind.
