Location: Alief, TX		Hey folks. Let's talk Robert E. Howard. I have a pretty fair collection, and I'm going to be reading some of it soon. I compared my collection to the listings here, and I have a lot that you don't. I realize this might be a worry about duplication. But across my collection, I find that every new book I get has four or five stories that aren't in any of the others, totaling more than 200 so far. So I wonder if you could add:

1. Del Rey did a big collection in the late 00's. The database here has the title that focuses on Bran Mak Morn, but none of the others. The other titles are a) Kull, Exile of Atlantis; b) The Conquering Sword of Conan; c) The Horror Stories of REH; d) Sword Woman and other Historical Adventures; e) The Savage Tales of Solomon Kane: f) The Coming of Conan the Cimmerian; g) The Bloody Crown of Conan; h) El Borak and Other Desert Adventures; i) The Best of REH vol 1 Crimson Shadows; j) The Best of REH vol 2 Grim Lands.

2. Cosmos Books produced a five-book set in the late 00's also, with an emphasis more toward horror and less towards characters. Those titles are: a) Shadow Kingdoms', b) People of the Dark; c) Beyond the Black River; d) The Hour of the Dragon; e) Black Hounds of Death.

3. Wildside Press also had a series in the early 00's. The three titles I have are; a) People of the Dark; b) Moon of Skulls; c) Treasures of Tartary.

4. There is also a nice collection from Bison Books titled The Black Stranger

5. Wandering Star published a great collection, full of Frazetta artwork, titled The Ultimate Triumph.

I know I send you guys a lot of work. Thanks for all that you do.

OK, there's a lot packed in there to consider. I haven't replied yet because your request kicked off a long overdue project to clean up REH and Conan in particular on the site. I wanted to get started so you can see where it's going. To that end I created a Google sheet for all the Conan series and plugged in all the books we already have. You can see the sheet here:

I made separate tabs for each of the publishing houses that have a Conan series. I separated the individual books out of the catch all "Conan Pastiches" in the DB and put them into the proper pub series. The completed tabs have a red highlight on them and are listed first. You'll see there are still a bunch left to work through. Next up is The Robert E. Howard Library of Classics that include 3 Conan books and a few other REH heroes.

You can see the current Conan series  on the series page. You'll have to scroll down a long way but most of them are on that page. Some series don't start with "Conan" like the Age of Conan series.

So far, I've added 8 new Conan books and I'll be adding a bunch more as I find them. i've also started the laborious process of updated the cover art for each series too. That will help with the duplicate titles that i have thus far been able to avoid for the most part. There are already novels/collections of the same name and I'm sure Ill have to add different entries for books of the same name but that belong to different series.

Ok, that's enough of the deets for now. What I hope to accomplish is to help folks parse out all the Conan series and find a starting place to get stuck in. I am, of course, working things out as I go along so things could change as I get a better handle on things. Anyone interested in helping out or discussing this project can find me hanging out in Ten Forward on Discord most days.
