Older). the novella Procession of the Black Sloth by Laird Barron, from his 2007 collection The Imago Sequence and Other Stories, was nominated for Best Novella at the 2008 Shirley Jackson Awards. nominated for a 2004 Retro Hugo Award for Best Short Story, Seventh Victim by Robert Sheckley was published in Galaxy in 1953 and then added to his 1954 collection Untouched by Human Hands. it is the "zero" entry of Sheckley's Victim series and the basis for the 1965 film The Tenth Victim starring Ursula Andress. Sheckley wrote the 1966 novelization of the film and the subsequent sequels in the 1980's, all of which are in the database. | ||
