Random quote: Orito pictures the human mind as a loom that weaves disparate threads of belief, memory, and narrative into an entity whose common name is Self, and which sometimes calls itself Perception. David Mitchell (The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet)

Hi there

I was wondering if there are plans to start listing the Gollancz Golden Age Masterworks series. This is a new imprint from Gollancz to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the SF Masterworks imprint, and the first four are already available to buy. As the name suggests, the titles being included in this imprint are all golden age classics, with appropriate artwork on the covers, and personally I think they look great.

It would be nice to see this new series getting a page here on WWE if possible.

Thanks

Naomi

Oh yeah, we’ll be making a list for sure. Was thinking of waiting until there are a dozen or so to start it. Looks like it will be a good series and I like the art so far too.

They do look very nice. I'm just hoping they're going to include all seven Lensman books in the series, and perhaps the Skylark series as well.

That's a concern for me as well. My other issue is that we have nice looking cover sets for series like those you mention and when we do this list we'll have to replace the default cover for those books with the new art for the MW series. I like complete sets of cover art and I hate to break those up. Oh well, it's happened before with the other Masterworks series.
